What we’re watching: Sea Smoke

If you haven’t seen images of the “sea smoke” that occurs on the Great Lakes, particularly in Duluth, you have really got to look up the pictures. This link includes a short video of a ship leaving harbor during an event, and an explanation of the phenomenon’s relationship to evaporation by Dr. Jay Austin, Large Lakes Observatory- University of Minnesota, Duluth.
